Lemon Technologies Limited (“Lemon”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on Lemonzm.com and related services. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit our website or use our Platform. They help us improve performance, security, and user experience.

Required for Account login, Payment processing, Security and fraud prevention, and Platform functionality.

Used to understand usage patterns, measure performance, and improve features.

Used to remember preferences and improve user experience.

We use trusted third-party services that may place cookies on your device. You can control or disable these through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may limit functionality.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
Name, Email, Phone number, Profile information, Payment details, and Uploaded content.
Automatically Collected
Device info, IP address, App usage data, Log data, and Country-level location.
2 & 3. Usage & Legal Basis
We process data under the Zambia Data Protection Act, 2021 to provide services, process transactions, enable monetization, and detect fraud.

4 & 5. Data Sharing
We share info with payment, hosting, and analytics providers. We do not sell personal data. Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide services or comply with law.
6. Connected Social Accounts
You can choose to connect your TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube accounts to Lemon from your dashboard. Connecting is optional, and we only access these accounts after you sign in to the platform and approve the permissions it shows you. Here is exactly what we do with each one.
TikTok
- • We receive your TikTok ID, display name, avatar and profile details (such as your bio and profile link).
- • We read your follower, following, likes and video counts to show you your stats inside your Lemon dashboard.
- • When you choose to, we upload videos you give us to your TikTok account, either as a draft for you to finish in TikTok or as a post published at the time you schedule, with the caption and privacy settings you pick.
- • We never post anything to TikTok without you creating and confirming it in Lemon.
- • We receive your Facebook ID, name and profile picture.
- • We see the list of Facebook Pages you manage and basic engagement on those Pages, so you can pick which Page to post to and see how posts perform.
- • When you choose to, we publish or schedule posts you create in Lemon to the Pages you select. We do not post to your personal Facebook profile.
- • We receive your Instagram account ID, username, name, profile picture, follower count and post count.
- • When you choose to, we publish or schedule photos, videos and captions you create in Lemon to your Instagram professional (business or creator) account.
YouTube
- • We receive your channel ID, channel name, thumbnail and public channel statistics (subscriber, video and view counts), using read-only access.
- • When you choose to, we upload videos you create in Lemon to your channel with the title, description and visibility you set.
- • Lemon uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can also revoke Lemon's access at any time from your Google security settings.
How we protect this data
- • We do not sell your data, including any data from your connected social accounts, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- • Your social stats are shown only to you. We do not share them with brands or other users unless you choose to.
- • Access tokens are encrypted before they are stored, and we only use them to provide the features described above.
- • We only request the permissions these features need.
- • You can disconnect any account at any time from your dashboard. When you do, we revoke our access where the platform allows it and delete the account details, stats and tokens we stored for that platform. You can also remove Lemon's access from the platform's own settings.
7. Children’s Privacy
Under 18 Notice
The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Your Rights
Data Protection Act, 2021:
- • Request access or correction
- • Request deletion (where applicable)
- • Withdraw consent
- • Lodge complaints with the Data Protection Commissioner
9 & 10. Transfers & Changes
Appropriate safeguards are used for data processed outside Zambia. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any periodic updates to this policy.
